01What cookies are
Cookies (and similar technologies like localStorage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. They let a website remember information between visits or requests, such as your preferences or whether you've already interacted with a form.
02How we use cookies
We distinguish between essential and functional cookies — which are needed for the site and its forms to work — and marketing or measurement cookies, which are used only to measure ad performance. Across this website, marketing cookies are only loaded if you consent to them. The one exception is our dedicated advertising landing pages, described in section 03.
03The cookies & trackers we use
We currently use the following cookies and trackers:
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel (ID 1911287526252366) — used for advertising measurement. Across this website it is a marketing cookie/tracker that only loads after you click Accept on our cookie banner. It records page views and, on our free audit tool, a completed-audit event. Exception — on our dedicated advertising landing pages (currently /649), which are reachable only by clicking one of our ads, the Pixel loads immediately on arrival so we can measure that ad's performance. Those pages record a page view and, if you submit the enquiry form or tap the call button, a lead event. See section 04 for how to opt out.
- Formspree — sets a cookie when you submit our contact form, purely to process and deliver that submission (functional).
- Google Fonts — our typography is served from Google's font infrastructure; loading a font may share basic request data such as your IP address with Google (functional/performance).
- Vercel — our hosting provider; may set operational cookies or log standard server data as part of hosting the site (essential).
We do not use Google Analytics or any other general-purpose analytics platform.
04Your choices & consent
When you first visit our website, a banner asks you to Accept or Decline cookies. Declining means the Meta Pixel never loads. You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page — click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to reopen this choice — or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings directly.
Our advertising landing pages (section 03) do not show the banner, because they exist only to measure the ad you clicked. If you would rather not be measured on those pages, you can block trackers in your browser settings, use your browser's private browsing mode, or opt out of Meta's advertising tools through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. You can also email us at hello@perspectiv.com.au and we will delete any data we hold about your visit.
05Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect some site functionality, such as the contact form.
06Changes to this policy & contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date when we do. If you have any questions, please contact us via our contact page or by email at hello@perspectiv.com.au.
